LAGE:
Die Bucht von Telašćica befindet sich im Südosten von Dugi Otok. Dank ihrer außergewöhnlichen Schönheit, ihres Artenreichtums und ihrer Bedeutung wurde diese Bucht 1988 zum Naturpark erklärt.
Drei grundlegende Phänomene prägen dieses Gebiet: die einzigartige Bucht von Telašćica als sicherster, schönster und größter Naturhafen der Adria mit 25 kleinen Stränden; die Klippen der Insel Dugi otok, die sogenannten „Felsen“, die bis zu 161 Meter aus dem Meer ragen und bis zu 90 Meter tief reichen; und schließlich der Salzsee Mir mit seiner heilenden Wirkung.
